Here is the rosewood bowl from a blank my wife picked out when we were at PSI picking up my new lathe. Can't remember what kind of rosewood it was. I wanted to keep the contrasting colors hence the shape. Finished with Watco danish oil and buffed. I made it for her for her birthday. I only took this one shot and didnt realize how blurry it is. Sorry. Maybe I'll get a new digital camera for christmas this year. This one works good for everything except close-ups.

That is awesome Rich. I do really like the contrasting colors. Really sets it off. She is going to like it I am sure.

Nice Rich.
Learned a trick on close ups a while back that works pretty well.
Zoom all the way in and move your camera back away from the piece.

Got a good clear shot of the cabinet Rich!!!:D Nice looking bowl sir. I like the wood and the form!
