Today I show you the repair of the exploded ball from my video few weeks ago.
To make something out of the pieces I taped the whole ball up and filled it with epoxy resin.
3 layers of resin was too much unfortunately, so it got some heat-cracks :(.
Anyhow, I sanded it up to 500 than used my own sanding paste.
The ends of the piece I cut off with a handsaw and sanded the new cut areas up to 2000. For the finish I used the classic woodturning oil.
