Was staying at an Airbnb last week and saw this....thing.

Yes, it's a real router table. Black and Decker router and all.

I cannot even imagine using it. None of the wheels have locks.

Must have been a lot of work to build, though (it was obviously custom built). I wonder what the original builder would think to know of it's current usage...

That's an interesting reuse for sure.

I had dinner in a fancy hotel's restaurant once. They had a seating area that was lit by 2 large lamps on tripods. As I looked closer, I realized the tripods were originally Surveyor Transoms. They had been thoroughly cleaned and polished. And honestly? They looked great in that particular setting/sitting area.
