Today I show you how I made an epoxy resin sphere. It's basically trapped pine cones inside of the epoxy, formed so it has a small stand.
After it all hardened, I sanded it down to 500 grit. Afterwards i used my own sanding paste for the finish.

Nice. I really like that. Looks like a hitch ball for a vehicle. What type of sphere jig is that you are using?

It's a customized jig by Manfred from Germany, price was 600 euros

Today the pineapple hospitality thing is not well understood . The "pineapple " of old was a pine cone ...not the grocery
store Hawaian pineapple . The Romans added pine resin to wine ,and into the 19th century a thyrsus ( pine cone on a
stick) was kind of a cocktail flag. We now return you to turning .
