I would like to replace my shop made crosscut sled with one of the Incra products but haven't decided on the Incra 5000 Miter Sled or the Miter Express with an Incra 2000 Miter, the latter which I already own. Some have complained online about the size of the 5000 sled and not being able to remove the miter. But the 5000 generally gets high praise. Since I already have the 2000 miter does the Miter Express make more sense or does the advantages of the larger 5000 outweigh that? This will be used on a SawStop Industrial if it makes a difference.

Hi Steve,
I am happy with the Incra 5000 for my table saw, but I attach it to a sliding attachment which I believe gives me more versatility as compared to the standard mounting arrangement.

I have the Incra 5000 sled and it is fabulous. I can cut 20+ inch panels and get dead on 90 degree cuts. For furniture panels it is a must.

I have the Miter Express and am happy with it. My only wish is that the panel to the left of the miter gauge was wider. I like the ability to detach the miter gauge. I am considering purchasing an additional drop panel and installing it in place of the outer section of the left panel.
