Dust extractor review

I'm thinking about buying a dust extractor and came across this review:

It's a couple of years old now, but I was impressed by the thoroughness of the review and their methodology.

They are construction guys not woodworkers, so they used powdered sheetrock compound not sawdust for the dirty filter tests, but I would think the results are comparable.

My apologies if this was posted before; didn't see it with a cursory search.

Strange that the Festool came in third behind the Makita even though the performance numbers seem to have been better for the Festool. At least if my quick glance at the graphs were accurate. Cost and noise were lower for the Makita, however.

I have the DeWalt DWV012 10-Gallon Dust Extractor and it works great.
