I finally built a blade storage cabinet, motivated by knocking one off the pegboard and onto the floor.

The cabinet is sized for 315mm blades, if you use 250mm blades you could scale the size.

I decided to use the shelves in a sloped mode by using the pin holes 2 holes apart (64mm).

If you want the shelves flat or a different offset you would have to adjust the dado spacings on the blade shelves.422841422842422843422840

Nice design and build. I do like the angled arrangement and the use of pins in dados is a solid way to keep the shelves put. Do the shelves have finger holes below the blade to assist with blade removal ?

I'm needing to do another blade storage box in my new smaller shop and your design gives me some inspiration. All of my blades are 250mm so I would size it accordingly.

Hi Dick, I never thought of finger holes to make blade removal easier, that’s a great idea.

I am planning on putting a rubber mat spacer under the blades.
