This bad thang would handle it...AFAIK, it goes to something like 58" or so, if I'm recalling clearly. It's the one I take big stuff to at Bucks County Hardwoods when there is a need. It's old. It's noisy. But it has a big bite!

Seriously though, looks like it's time to call around for a bigger machine! I glued up a table top out of 3 narrower slabs a couple weeks ago, and it came out about 40" wide. Even with a few inches to spare it was pretty hairy feeding a 2-3/8" slab though the machine! I may have to keep an eye out for a bigger sander as well;)

If you rip the edges and ugly sap off and make a proper table top it will fit just fine! Just had to say that. And fix that crack, too.
