For 1" blades, I've never received anything but perfect blades from Bandsawbladesdirect.com. I'm not sure if they sell smaller blades though.

They do. I was going to pick up a couple of Diemaster 2 blades, 1/2" and 1/4", but the shipping seemed pretty high for a pretty light package. They do offer free shipiping for orders >$100. First glance though, Woodcraftbands looks like they have much better prices.

Just noticed that the Woodcraft Bands are not designated Diemaster >2<. Just Diemaster. Not sure if this makes a difference or not.

You might check the Lenox web site - perhaps there is an authorized Lenox shop local to you. I get my Lenox blades from such a shop near me. They make them to order, sometimes while I wait.

Great tip John. Found a certified weld center just a couple miles away. In fact just a few blocks away from my favorite tool store - Woodwerks.

Thanks!

Brian,
What is the name of the weld center. I would be interested in that as well as I am also near Columbus.

Matthew, you might use this and put in your zip code: https://www.lenoxtools.com/FindRetailer/FindDistributor.aspx
The Lenox certified weld centers have a special icon next to their entry. I found about a dozen within driving distance of where I live.

+1 for bandsaw-blades-direct-dot-com. No professional relationship, just been sending customers to them for years and heard lots of good feedback.

Fastenal - 845 Claycraft Rd, Gahanna, 614-866-4163.

There are several Fastenal sites listed around Columbus, so there might be something closer to you.
