Shout out to Vega

My Vega duplicator had a little slop in the carriage that rides on the aluminum extrusion. Of course Vega has small bolts with an allen wrench drive and a locking nut on each end and side of the carriage the bears down on steel rods. It is not unusual for tools to have wear adjustments. This duplicator is basically a lifetime tool. But there is nothing wrong with thanking an American company that designs tools for a life time of use.

Didn't even know they were still in business, and I only live 85 miles away. Looked at their Facebook page and all they do is make a post on holidays. Nothing about machinery. Interesting marketing strategy.

Well their tools are on the Southern-Tool website. I hope they are still doing ok. You are right about the marketing.
