Felder KF700 DC and power connections

Anyone with a Felder KF saw/shaper or similar machine, can it be set it up with dust collection and power coming down from the ceiling rather than across the floor?

I have a Felder k700 sliding saw. Yes you could hook it up to power or dust collection from anywhere. Dust port is at floor level under neath for main connection and above saw for the overhead guard. Overhead sources for power and dust collection will work fine.

I've done it both ways, up from below if you can, and down from above, which presents issues with hitting the pipe with offcuts. so placement is more important if coming from above. Plenty of pictures on the FOG.

Hi, the shaper has a 120mm port on the hood and an 80mm port below the table.

The saw has a 120mm port below the table and if I remember correctly either an 80 or 50mm port on the overhead guard....Rod
