I have just completed building two folding miter saw stands for my two sons.
Except for the top boards, both stands were made from one sheet of BB
plywood. I couldn't find plans for just what I wanted, so this design is my own.

That looks to be a very well thought-out design. The fold up is nicely compact. Is the wing height designed for a particular saw or is it adjustable?

Dan what a super stand!!
As a trim carpenter I have seen quite a few different types, but nothing like yours. I am very interested in your design, if you post a print or clue us in on some of the secrets, please let me know.
By the way, what does it weigh??

The stand is not adjustable, but in assembly some holes are located to accomodate the particular saw. I guess the only "secret" to the design is
making the two outriggers different widths so that the nest one inside the
other.

Great idea and design. Don't think I have ever seen one like it.

How come I don't have a creative imagine like that ;)
