I need to build a small shelf that can fold down out of the way when it's not in use, about 24" wide and about 20" deep.

I'd like to use an articulated folding arm that is purpose made for this, but haven't found one yet. If you think you might know of something that would fit my needs, I'd appreciate hearing from you. Thanks, Mark

Consider a tv wall mount. I purchased 4 mounts made for 13" tube-type tvs to use as speaker shelves. They are awesome Of course that was 13 years ago when you could still get things for tube tvs. I think they were <$20 each and support 40 lbs. The also have articulating laptop holders that would probably work too. And there are under-the-cabinet foldable shelves out there too.

Do they still make keyboard shelves that pull out and up or adjustable monitor stands.

Thank you everyone. Lots of good hardware out there!
