Anyone have experience and can recommend a good portable jump starter with or without air compressor? I had a never-used Stanley for awhile but it disappeared. Online reviews are not credible. I'm thinking this would be good for Christmas gifts. Thanks.

I bought this one last year and been very happy with it:

Just used it yesterday to jump start the neighbor's F-350.

Thanks Todd. A good testimonial if it can start a 350.

I have this one (https://www.amazon.com/Clore-Automotive-Jump-N-Carry-JNC770B-Premium/dp/B01JRDV81K/ref=sr_1_12?crid=184IVN4N8HV0J&keywords=jump+starter&qid=1574859020&s=automotive&sprefix=jump%2Cautomotive%2C143&sr=1-12), a little more expensive, but it will turn over my F350 diesel on a cold morning as long as the batteries aren't completely gone. It holds a charge for a at least a year.

Do not get one with a high output pressure on the compresser. Any thing over 100PSi is overkill and will pump so little air it will take 5-10 minutes to top up a tire. A 400 PSI unit , I have seen them, will take four times longer then a 100PSi unit given the same motor.
I had one that had an automatic regulator/shutoff. That was nice set it to the desired tire pressure and let it run to shutoff pressure.

I purchased this one in Jan 2017. It's worked perfectly every single time. It'll hold it's charge for long periods of time so you don't have to keep it topped off all the time.
I've never had a problem jump starting my supercharged 6.1L chrysler 300 SRT8. That car takes alot to turn over.
It has a boat load of other features also.
-Comes with a bunch of laptop adapters and I've used it to power my laptop at the race track for tuning and datalogging.
-I've used it to charge my wife's and My cell phones for 5 days when our power was out from a hurricane.

Now there are two schools of jump packs. LI ones and and lead acid ones. I have a lead acid, which was given to me, via local dumpster. It does everything (usb ports, light, compressor, 110 outlets, and even jump starts cars.} When it came my way, it needed a new battery, and was missing charger. Ordered a new battery off Ebay ($44.00), and charge thru battery cables, using Battery Tender. Brand is Craftsman, which most likely is no longer available. Worked when I needed to jump off truck after leaving door open for about 12 hours. Unfortunately, truck needed and got a new battery. Bought the $49.98 special from Walmart, which now cost $79.99. Same battery, with a different label.

I've been happy with this one from Harbor Freight (https://www.harborfreight.com/3-in-1-portable-power-pack-with-jump-starter-62306.html). I got mine on sale for like $49.

In fairness though, I bought it as a standby for an Inogen oxygen concentrator - in the event power was out for longer than the battery pack(s) for the Inogen would last.
