I while back, my wife and I were in a furniture store and saw on display a Stickley Gathering Island (https://www.stickley.com/product-category/entertainment/gathering-islands/). We liked the idea, but my wife wanted a simpler design. The two-tier designs would not work with our couch unless it was bar height, and we thought that would be too high. This is what I came up with...

Very nice piece Chris. You did that fine QSWO proud. What was your finish regimen? I really like it - it looks "old" already.

Thanks.....My wifed wanted a dark finish, and she liked the Centennial finish we saw on display on some of the Harvey Ellis pieces we saw. I used Jeff Jewitt's Centennial finish schedule in the below PDF. It is Dark Mission Dye/Seal-a-Cell/Java Gel Stain/ Arm-r-Seal.
