Lee Valley pricing- catalog vs online???

We have put together a handful of items we would like to buy as presents as we look through the catalog and then when we look them up online they are all more expensive online.

Is this normal? Checking random items confirms this. As an example we can all relate to- the medium shoulder plane with a PM-V11 iron is $209 in the catalog and $239 online.

OOPS! Never mind. I think it's the old Canadian Vs US pricing thing. My wife was doing the comparisons on her computer instead me on mine.

I guess Lee Valley could eliminate this problem by accepting US dollars at par. :rolleyes:

You can change the language on the website. There is an option for Canadian English or US English and it changes the prices to match.

They still use the same English for both sites, just the currency changes.
