I have a Mercury M-25 using Corel 11. I was wondering if anyone else had seen this problem before.
The font for the legend plate text is Arial Rounded MT Bold. I sent the file to engrave the text and vector the outline using the "Bottom to Top" option of the Mercury driver. When the laser started to raster the text, it seemed to skip a few passes at the bottom of the text.
The same file run top to bottom works fine.
My laser exhaust is set up through the back of the laser. I was trying to use this option to eliminate the burnt residue from dragging across the already engraved surface as in normal top to bottom engraving.
I have previously emailed Kevin Huffman, and he has not heard of this happening before.
I have the lastest drivers and firmware as supplied by Kevin, as well as the the latest updates for Corel. Seems to me it's a driver issue.
