i would find it especially useful in the workbench threads in the neanderthal play ground... agree with this one, agree with this one, and have just a couple items to add as food for thought.
just asking, not urgent.

I would only like it if they also provide a "Dislike" button. Having only a "Like" button leaves off half the possible information a reader can provide.

If a like and dislike button, about a "meh" button to round things out.
But an expanded emoticons set could cover everything. 👎 😐 👍

Right now you can quote single or multiple responses and then simply post like "Like".
I'm not a fan of "Like" or "Dislike" buttons as it can become simply a popularity post.

It must be my age. To me, simply clicking a "like" button means the response was not worthy of a well thought out and meaningful reply. However, I also prefer phone conversations to text messages so you should factor that in ;-) <=== everyone does get the irony in my use of this smiley, right?

Show some real appreciation....I would prefer a donation of $5.00 to either a like or a well thought out meaningful reply. Nothing says i love it like cash!!!

Xenforo has a "like" button native so hopefully the time resources necessary to make that move will become available and allow the long-planned migration. And not really because of the "like" button, but rather native support for mobile devices and a whole host of other things that will benefit the community.

I hit +1 as a quick reply saying I agree, and the postit gods told me it was too short to post.

10 character minimum requirement for a post...it's been that way since the beginning back in 2003.
