Anyone have any experience with this saw? I was looking at the reviews and videos and it seems to get good comments and it looks a lot like the DeWalt. It sells for about $300.00 / ½ price of a DeWalt with a coupon or when its on sale. Any one seen one in person or use one? And if so, what are your thoughts?
I posted two links one is the quick pro-mo video and the other one is the side by side DeWalt comparison to Hercules video.

What is the warranty period?? Some reviews said it was only 90 days.

The local Home Depot has the 12" dual bevel DeWalt slider with a 3 year warranty for US $385.00 -- https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-15-Amp-Corded-12-in-Double-Bevel-Sliding-Compound-Miter-Saw-DWS779/206541015

The saw you show is a 779 not the 780. In my reviews most think they are almost the same saw except for the blade light but from what I have heard if you compare replacement parts of the two saws the part numbers are not the same and not interchangeable. Some say it was made for the box stores with cheaper parts as most cant tell the difference. I am not sure but that's what I have read???

I paid $355 out-the-door for a Dewalt 779 from Lowe's. 779 is the same as the 780 except no laser, don't fall for internet lies. I'm not interested in a laser beam even if it was no additional charge. You can add a laser beam by purchasing parts from Dewalt for ~$50 IIRC. Even if the Harbor Freight product is as good what about spares? 779/780 is made in Mexico or Tiawan. The HF is made in China with slave labor....
