I'll be in Branson/Springfield this weekend and was trying to locate a Woodcraft, Rockler, or other ww'ing stores in that area. Can anybody advise on this? I'm not having much luck on the www...

We'll be leaving out probably around noon tomorrow (Friday), so will check back in the morning.

Thanks,
Mark

Not much to speak of in Branson.

The best bet in Springfield is the Grizzly showroom at Battlefield and Ks Expressway. They have lots of machines to look at but plenty of the smaller stuff, too.

OP Hardwoods on Chestnut might be a possibility. There are no Rocklers, Woodcrafts, etc. that I know of.

Good luck,

Cal

Mark,
I would also suggest;
Ballew Saw & Tool, Inc.
325 S. Kimbrough
Springfield, MO 65806

They have an excellent selection of power tools, machinery, and just about everything else woodworking. I stopped in last July on the way to the AAW Symposium in KC and was impressed. Good prices too. I am not sure if they are open on Saturday however.

Yup! Guess you've already gone. Hope you get to see the 800 lb. gorilla, I mean the 1800 lb. Grizzly.
