I'm building Gerstner styled tool chests for myself and two sons and have run into some difficulty finding a smaller sized full mortise lock to secure the front panel in the closed position. Found one at WoodCraft that would work except it is a dark bronze finish and I'm using Nickel hardware. WoodCraft says no Nickel finish available from the manufacturer. The lock will be mortised into the 1/2" edge of a 2" wide rail. full-mortise-small-box-lock (https://www.woodcraft.com/products/full-mortise-small-box-lock)

I've searched every vendor I know of and have not found much to choose from. I did find a cam lock on McMaster-Carr that might work but was hoping for a full mortise or, second choice, a half mortise style.

Thanks for any assistance.

Tom, you might want to search the vintage/reproduction vintage hardware sites...just google vintage hardware and a number of suppliers will show up.
