Old flood damaged mahogany four poster bed

My wife inherited one and it was already rough from age, but the Hurricane Harvey flood did a number on it.
I have glued the splits and void fillers and am coating it with Minwax Wood Finish penetrating stain red mahogany color.
After it dries, I will coat it with Johnson's wax.

The bed will be put back in the guest bedroom. It will look great and be back in service. The bed is old, from the Philadelphia area. I do not know why I am posting this, but maybe it will inspire some of you to undertake a similar project.

The recent storm was north of us. Our ditches in Galveston County did not overflow. That took place to the North East of us.
