Delta X-5 15" planer squeak

While planing some Ash today my new ( 6 months old) planer started making a squeak...sounds like infeed/outfeed rollers. Called the guys I bought it from and he couldn't give me any quick answer on what to do. Said he'd need to look into it and get back to me. I'm not in a hurry and hopefully he'll get back with the answer.....but, is this something that he should fix, or is that something that falls under owner maintenance?

Anybody else expierience a squeak on their planer and if so....what did you do to take care of the problem?

steve, if it`s anything other than adjusting the belts it should be fixed under warranty. .02 tod

My 20" 4-post planer sqeals while planing. Doesn't sound like the belts, which are tight enough and in good shape. Does sound like it comes from the feed roller - more on the side away from the drive gear. . .
