Here's a few pics of my 2nd bowl.
I intentionally left one side of the rim higher than the other because It looked cool :cool: . Unfortunately it looked cool earlier, when the difference was much more pronounced - now I'm not sure I like it so I might chuck it back up & turn the rim even.
It was a battle to get this done because of my tool sharpenning woes we are discussing in Zacks gouge sharpening thread. I actually kind of gave up on it. I might get back to it & try to turn it smoother when my new turning tools come in.
I really like it - but I liked it more before I messed up the rim.

So far there are 2 coats of salad bowl oil finish - I forget the brand - I bought it at Woodcraft.
