Not sure where to ask this.
Has anyone ever made one or something similar?

Thanks - Granddaughter request...

I didn't build one, but I looked at it pretty closely. It is a clever design -- height adjustable for a growing kid, but it looks sturdy. IIRC, the one I looked at was clear-finished baltic birch. It may make most financial sense to just buy the thing, but if you want to build it, it looks pretty easy to knock off.

On Amazon it's $475!! Can do a lot of BB for that kind of money :D

Pretty easy design, if I can get the slope and angles ok so it won't tip over!!

The CNC will do a quick job on the cutout.

Seach for tripp trapp chair plans. Pintrest shows some dimensions.

What are the little extensions on the back end of the feet? Look to me like metal afterthoughts because the chair would tip backwards.

Thanks! Searched for the chair, never thought to search for the plans... :)

The Tripp Trapp chair is a norwegin design, which has also been through several patent cases. Over here it retails for roughly 200$.....
