I need a new set of drill bits, good drill bits to replace the titanium coated piece of crap bits I bought at HD a few years ago. After a little use they don't even want to bore into oak. I like the hex shank bits because you don't have to move the chuck a lot when you change sizes, but all the ones I've seen come with about 20 "accessories" I don't need or come in a huge case. I'd like to find a simple set in a small case. Any recommendations?

I don't buy them by sets anymore cause either they are cheapo sets or the good ones are in sets of driver bits, countersinkers etc. I go to Sears and buy several of the individual carded hex shanked drill bits - I keep a couple of 1/16 up to 3/8 on hand all the time. I am like you though, I like the hex shanks as well.
