Somewhere in the past year or so, I saw plans for a shop-built mortise jig in a magazine but I can't find it now. If anyone comes across it, please pm me or post the info here on the forum.

Thanks
Bill

Bill, there are lots of mortise jigs out there. It might help folks remember if you can describe the one you saw.

Check the web site of Pat Warner. He has directions on there.

Maybe it was FWW # 174 Tools & Shops 2004/2005 using t-track.
There's another one in FWW # 141 using drawer slides.

I think it was in the FWW174 issue. I loaned a pile to my brother in Texas so that's probably why I can't find it.

Thanks again.

Hi

The April 2005 issue of Workbench had a mortising jig as well

Bill,
There was an excellent mortising jig published in ShopNotes No. 64 (http://shop.store.yahoo.com/backissuesstore/sn064.html). I am currently smack in the middle of making one.
