Medal Hanger with text above

Hi All,
I have a friend who has asked me to make a medal hanger for his wife (see . but he want the textcut out above the hanger. Is there a way / font do do this without using metal tape to stop the laser cutting the base of the text off.

In Corel, just place your text along the top edge of the hanger graphic, select/group both, and use the 'weld' function, it'll connect the words to the graphic..

You can do this with your CorelDraw program. Use the weld tool to weld the text and the hanger together.

Hi All,
Thanks for the help , Ive now done it. I struggled abit at first as I am working nights at the moment which isnt the best time for thinking. then realise I had to weld the text after converting it to curves and then weld it to a box as the hanger file was not one piece.
