Frame & raised panels sides

Recycled drawer hardware. Hutch has a door to close up the cubby hole shelves.

Desk top is 49" long, as is the top of the hutch.

panel in the door is just a 5mm plywood panel, with some fancy grain
Moving day was today..out with the old....

A few 1x 6s of pine, and a bit of plywood...still have one 1 x 6 x 6' plank left over...might use that for something a bit smaller...

Stain is Puritan Pine, with a drizzle of Dark Walnut....then a few coats of Amber Shellac...

Ash is a nice working wood. I built a hutch many years ago. Nice project.

Under construction...both sides of the drawer unit have raised panels in the frame & panel side panels. Panels were "raised" with a hand plane..or two
