Looks from the pic to be in decent shape. I don't have any idea how the motor is, but if someone is looking for some big old arn, here it is, and for a song. No personal interest on my part other than hoping it can go to a good home. :)

I think you safe Bill.

That band saw is almost 9' tall, and probably weighs more that 2000lbs. Moving it is another story altogether.
It's size and weight alone eliminates most of us. :(

Please buy it Bill, I don't need another 36" bandsaw...

Only downsides are 460v and 900 rpm motor which is a little fast for wood on a 36" wheel. Dave

All of those 36"+ saws are probably fantastic, but as its been mentioned, so few people can actually fit them in their space. In the last 18 months ive seen a few PRISTINE northfields and Olivers for $1,000 or less. Quite a few were $500. One day when i have a proper space, i will have one just for the sheer bargain aspect. I think IRS has a 42" at auction within the next month.

I prefer 480v stuff. You think that's fast, some tannys ran at 1200 rpm DD.

You are correct. A single phase transformer and a 480v vfd would solve both problems. Dave
