A couple of months or more ago there was a guy on here who had acquired a
large amount of Stanley parts
Possibly a Steve R........... Said he needed time for inventory
I sent a PM with a short starter list of wanted pieces; haven't heard much back
Stated in message that time was not a big factor but hey, everything has limits
Anyone know status?

Apparently he isn't in a hurry to sell.

My last message from him indicated he was overwhelmed by the response and the difficulty in doing an inventory.

If there are specific parts you need, it might be best to place a WTB ad in the SMC Classifieds.

Thanks for update; after awhile I think I deleted PM and / or email
regarding this. Lately though, I have made some time to work
on the interior of the finger joint box for my Stanley No. 45
Which got me thinking about parts.

If a person has a bunch of old planes and other tools, then the thoughts of obtaining parts to improve them seems to always be on one's mind when they are in the shop amongst their tools.
