I like it - especially if you made it out of pallet wood like your web site says -excellant work! 5 months aint so bad either - unless of course this is your full time job ;)

OOOPs I need to update that part of the site, This is the first piece I've made that I actually bought lumber. The picture doesn't do it justice. The hutch is about 7' tall and almost 4' long and 2 1/2' deep. I even put the pegs in the corners of each door. The hardest part was waiting for each plank to dry. I only have enough clamps to do one plank at a time. Thanks for all the kind words, Doug

Nice looking Hutch Doug, very good job! Although Pine is not my favorite wood, it is absolutely the best choice for pieces such as this. The nicest looking Hutch's I have seen have been Pine. It looks right at home in the corner. 5 months of work looks to be worth every minute. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us, it really is a nice unit! Very, Very nice work! :D

Nice work Doug. I really like the pegged joints. I'll bet someone is very proud to have that piece in their house!
