Wow I am starting 2 threads in one week...better check perhaps the sky is falling eh!
In my other tread I spoke about painting my shop to do this I need to move things and that included my small Southbend lathe. Last year Woodcraft had a sale on a Bora mobility kit that I figured would do the job. Last Sunday I started to assemble it and found the threads on 1 of the rotating casters would not accept a nut. After futsing around with it for a while I gave up. Monday I called customer service. They answered after I waited about 1 second on the phone. The young woman indicated they had a bad batch of casters. Said she would send 2 to make sure I had no more problems. They arrived today and worked great. My lathe moves and I am quite happy. Seems like a good company to me and I thought folks should know about their service.
Oh ya the mobility kit is well thought for a generic unit. I doubt they thought it would go on a metal cutting lathe.
