View Full Version : Elroy's Hot Sauce

I used to work with Elroy and he would bring this to work occasionally along with a bag of Tostitos.
Everyone would take bit of sauce in a cup and munch away. Here is the recipe.

Put 5 pounds of fresh tomatoes in a pot and boil them until the skins come off.
Include two serano peppers. Just put in as much as the pot will hold.

In a blender put these ingredients in along with two bunches of green onions, the juice of two limes, and two cloves of fresh garlic,
and two table spoons of Tony Chacaree 's Creole Seasoning.

Blend it until it is all combined and then dip Tostito chips in it and munch away.

It's good warm, but you put it in the refrigerator and serve when you want.
