Need to do some unique door casing (only about 50lf) and am looking for methods to do it on the shaper. It's a tapered profile, and my concern is how to support it on the outfeed side of the fence. I can grind the corrugated knife. It's the technique that has me baffled. TIA for any input.

Shaper is not ideal for this but it can be done. Since I got a W&H we usually go to that for short runs of full profile in the face moulding. Pictures show a simple false fence with a ledge to catch the profile and made to remove 1mm from the face.

Setup a tall back fence and feather boards /hold downs of some sort (split pvc pipe seems to work well) run the feeder on the top edge.

Dust collection will be poor.
