Hi Gang, I have a Jet contractors saw about 6 years old that needs to be tuned up. I am having trouble getting the blade square with the miter gauge, I am about 40/1000's off from the front to the back of the 10" blade.

I think my problem is that I can only get at and loosen 3 of the 4 bolts that hold the arbor to the top of the table. I can't see how to get at the front right bolt with a wrench to loosen it?

Anyone out there experinced this problem or give me some advise? thanks Lynn

Have you tried tilting the blade to get access to the 4th bolt?

Brian :) Yeah....or you may need to remove the blade to loosen, hten reinstall to check alignment. Definitely a reach, but doable. I'd spring for a set of PALS from In-line Industries or Woodcraft while you're at it. $20 well invested IMO!

I could not agree more. PALS really made my Jet hum.
