What's the name of the caliper he's using near the the beginning, the one with the "T" on the end? And where do I get one.

It's a Matsui T-Type Marking Vernier Caliper. We're not allowed to post eBay links? So you'd have to search for it there, under "Matsui Japanese Scriber Gauge", they start at US$150.

There's also what appears to be a Chinese copy here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/0-250mm-T-Type-Marking-Vernier-Caliper-with-fine-adjustment-T-Marking-Vernier-Caliper-with-fine/32579977362.html?spm=a2g13.10010108.1000001.11.42a dbfebvy71gl&isOrigTitle=true

Hard to find in the US, it would be interesting if anyone has a domestic source. I would be hesitant to give an actual credit card to a previously unknown entity overseas that doesn't accept PayPal.

In the meantime, my TiteMarks do just fine.

Never mind the calipers, I want his studio space! Shame about the way he attached the top compared to the rest of the joinery.

That was unexpected wasn't it?

Really nice work and he makes it look easy. I like the lines of the finished product! Thanks for posting it up.

Yes, I was actually shocked!

As was I. Contradictions.

His sure-handed use of the bandsaw mightily contrasted with but was somehow in tune with the Dozuki as it was used on the horizontal. One foot in the 21st, the other in a more traditional time.

Thank you. I can see the usefulness for some of the things I've done, especially when marking with fine pencil lines instead of a scriber.
