I had a regular customer ask for a color combo that's not available in laserable, he'd been getting it done at a rotary shop but was unhappy with the quality of the detailed logo. In this case it was Rowmark 2-325 Lt Grey/Marine Blue. I found that by increasing power and reducing speed plus two passes to cut it comes out nicely, in fact the cuts are cleaner than rotary or saw. On my 45 watt Epilog it's rastor 400dpi 95 speed 70 power, Vector 30 speed, 50 power, 500 frequency, two passes. That
experiment will enable me to do more colors like burgundy on white that are also not available in laserable Rowmark.

Hi Joe;
Interesting tip- good to know. What happens with a vector cut at 30 speed and 100 power?
Thanks
George

I never got to 100 power, at about 80 I got flaming and discolored edges on the surface. There may be a combo that will cut in one pass but when I found this to work cleanly I stuck to it, since this job doesn't usually involve more than about a dozen pieces.
