Well I never actually saw the machine, but I did see the path left by what has to be the ultimate snowblower. Years ago while living in Oregon, I decided to check out Crater Lake National Park on a June weekend. It never occured to me to check first but when we got there they told us it was the first weekend they were open as the road to the top of the crater rim had just been opened. So as we get about halfway to the rim we start running into straight vertical walls of snow 12' high on the side of the road. Somewhere I've got pics where I'm standing beside the car with another 6' of wall above my head. Out of curiousity I asked some questions at the visitor center. They've got some monster beast snowblower vehicle that cut through those 12' high walls to clear the road.
