My Ridgid framing nail gun shot it’s last nail the other day. Now it’s just spewing air out the exhaust. I thought that I could buy a rebuild kit, but nobody seems to have them for the R350RHE. I do see them for the R350CHE (the clipped head version). Does anybody know if this would be compatible.

They do look to be very similar don't they? Possibly a call to Ridgid Customer Service would get you a positive yes or no answer. I like most of my Ridgid tools but for reasons just like this I won't buy Ridgid tools any longer. Their habit of discontinuing a model after just a short time on the market then offering no parts backup for that tool leaves the owners of those tools in just your situation.

you might not need a full rebuild kit. looks like they sell the individual parts. take the gun apart and see what seals you need.

Did you sign up for the LSA? If so, then let HD fix it. All my tools are covered by the LSA, even though it took TWO YEARS for them to finally cover one. They said I didn't register it, which isn't so. Sent them a copy of the certificate of mailing that proved I mailed it. Finally they send me a letter telling me that they would make an exception and register my tool. Wrote them back and stated "No Exception Needed," as I had COM, and would gladly take them to small claims court if problem arose.

I did call and they gave me the part numbers for each item in the kit. I pulled it apart and no obvious problems with the o-rings even though that is the exact symptom. Some may be flat, but I’ll have to compare them to the new ones.

What lubricant should I use? That was the one thing that it did not specify.
