I have been asked to do 500 1.5 inch round pieces out of wood. There is a logo to be engraved. They will provide the wood and will 1/4" wood, so will need to engrave and cut. I have a 45w Epilog Helix. Any thoughts on pricing? Should be a pretty easy job and could lead to more in the future.
TIA

Figure how much you want to make an hour. then do a test run and time how long it takes to do one or however many you will do at a time. and then how ever many you get done in a hour calculate it so you make how much u want an hour. for example. if you want to make $60 an hour. if you can get six done in a hour charge them $10 a piece . that's how I do it. and then negotiate the price with the customer so you are both happy. that's my advice.

Or you could search Google for wooden nickels t see if that might be an option.

We do a fair amount of 2'' dia. and charge $0.80 each, all of ours are done on 1/8'' wood.

Does the $0.80 include cutting the pucks to thickness and sanding or is there a source for ready to engrave pucks ?

It includes cutting and sanding, that is the price on 500
