I haven't posted any pics for awhile so thought I would share a couple. This one is based on an article in the recent Woodturning Design. Didn't come out too bad but missed on the corners and took off more than I wanted. Maple Burl.

I usually use the Beall system for final buffing but could just see this going in a 100 directions when hit with a buffing wheel going 1700 rpm! So it's sprayed with Deft lacquer and buffed with steel wool and wax.
