I bought my first saw. It's a disston d-100, the etching is faded but you can make out the numbers and I had my kids look through the handles at the disston website and it matches with the d100. 26"long and 10ppi
The two horns where cracked and they moved with slight pressure, at first my plan was to just glue them together and leave it like that. I ended up taking the handle off, held the cracks open with a toothpick and then worked some epoxy down with a heat gun. cleaned it lightly and coated it with boiled linseed oil. Also cleaned the medallion and nuts. The medallion dates it pre 1917. Very fun. I also got a stanley square which i'll clean later. All for$12 I think it was a good buy

I took a D-12 to Circle Saw in Houston Texas and had it re-toothed. I put a new curly maple handle along with new saw nuts.
I could not buy a new saw today to match it. It is 10 tpi cross cut. It came with only a piece of a handle.

Congrats, Hugo, a great find! Enjoy it. But be warned, it is quite addicting.

You mean how I just have one, but am looking at saw till designs... that's probably not a good sign.
Way I look at it, I don't go to Starbucks, i don't gamble on lotto tickets, why didn't I figure out sooner that you can get things like this and will make you feel better than that
