Hi there, first post from a novice. I bought a delta 62-175m(which I believe is the same as the RC33 (http://i.viglink.com/?key=1e0fcc3335144a8a971189d3aadc5f45&insertId=033994fa5478d746&type=H&exp=60%3ACI1C55A%3A15&libId=jsmjslxv0100zey9000DA6jz3xa1x2h5l&loc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.woodworkingtalk.com%2Ff12%2F rc-33-not-feeding-properly-210971%2F&v=1&iid=033994fa5478d746&opt=true&out=https%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F1%2F711-53200-19255-0%2F1%3Ftype%3D2%26campid%3DCAMPAIGNID%26toolid%3D 11000%26customid%3DCUSTOMID%26ext%3D132744702935%2 6item%3D132744702935%26ipn%3Dpsmain%26icep_vectori d%3D229466%26icep_ff3%3D2%26icep_item%3D1327447029 35&title=RC%2033%20not%20feeding%20properly%20-%20Woodworking%20Talk%20-%20Woodworkers%20Forum&txt=%3Cspan%3ERC33%3C%2Fspan%3E)). My issue is that it doesn’t feed correctly. The board begins to feed nicely, but quite often the machine will "slip out of gear", meaning the emergency handle will disengage and the feed rollers will stop.

The second problem is that even if the feed rollers/handle stay engaged, the machine stops feeding approx the last 6” of the board and I have to pull it through the machine, which usually results in a large snipe.

It obviously needs a tune up, but if anyone familiar with the machine could give me an idea of where to start and what to focus on, it would really be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryan

OWWM.org is the place to go for answers. I have a DC33 which is a later version and it had the same kick out problems. There is likely an adjustment but I took the easy route and just put a stick in the lever to lock it. The RC is a little different set up so that might not work. The owwm guys will know. Dave
