Couple question for anyone who owns a Jet wet sharpening system.

1) The obviously messed up in the initial design and the nut used to hold on the grinding wheel will rust. The wheel spins clockwise so it's my assumption that the nut is not reversed threaded?

2) Due to the cohesion (correct term?) properties of water, the water follows up the wheel and then spills down back into the reservoir but also all over the floor and workbench. Has anyone come up with a solution for this?

No one owns a Jet sharpening system. How about a Tormek? They appear to be identical.

I forget about the thread direction, but I switched to a CBN wheel and it has to run dry. Fixes that pesky water problem of yours. I never had a water problem, maybe I ran it slower than you do, or put less water in the tray, but never had it running down on the bench.
