I don't own a lathe yet, but I'll bet that thing "wobbled" crazily on the lathe while you were turning it.

Yeah, notice the speed on the lathe....if I went any faster, it would have walked out the shop door.

Very nice Greg!! Thanks for the in-process pics.. I love that. The other day, I was going for something like this shape you have here. One little catch....Blam!!!! The vase snapped off at the base and flew across the room. Yours however....looks oh so much nicer!!!

Thanks John. I was kinda worried about that with this piece, but the White Top turns really nice and the sap pockets didn't seem to bother anything at all. I ended up with less than a 3/16" wall, but with the out of balance, the left wall is thinner than the right by about 1/32"
