Hurricane Harvey hit in 1917 and our house had 36" of water inside. Fortunately, we have FEMA flood insurance and our house is back together. My computer desk is one I made. It is ell shaped and is eight feet on the two walls.
It has a drawer unit on one end. The formica covered legs fared pretty good, the whole desk is formica covered.The drawer fronts were destroyed. So, I made new drawer fronts, but they are solid wood and painted gray to match the rest of the desk. I made new drawer fronts and painted them to match the rest of the desk. The desk looks pretty good.
I just wanted to brag about it. I'm sure all of you have projects you did you are proud of. Maybe you could tell us about them.
