I'm building a three-drawer filing cabinet. I'd like it to have an anti-tipover mechanism which allows only one drawer to open at a time. I'm having trouble finding one. I can find two-drawer devices, but no 3-drawer solutions. Anybody know of one?

A 3/4" steel plate that slides in from the back, into the bottom, solves your tipping problem. Easily removable when it's time to move the cabinet.

Or you could fasten it to the wall.

+1 for the steel plate. With some file cabinets you will need to remove the bottom drawer. Then just slide the steel into the bottom cavity and replace the drawer. 1" steel is best if the cabinet is a 5 drawer cabinet.

I've never used them, but this looks like it might work:

That looks like it should work. I called ABS, and they say they can get the 3-drawer kit. I ordered it from them, and we'll see what arrives...

You don't need as much weight if it's on the back of cabinet as opposed to the bottom, leverage an all.
