Have older 2035 with RPM readout in rear and would like suggestions on what I should install. Am going to try some texturing and embellishing.

Sounds like you have a 3520a and that is not a tachometer in the back. Just what are you asking about installing?

Hi Bill, Yes I have a 3520a and love it. One reason is that the pot allows lathe to completely stop( hardly ever use the red button). I have the conversion chart to get the rpm from led in rear and could install 2 mirrors in rear to view while turning, but would still have to refer to chart to get rpms. Am also considering purchasing a tach with digital readout and permanently mounting on headstock or using a hand held unit. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've been turning for 33 years. Haven't paid attention to actual rpm numbers in 32 years.
