Black Limba platters

So last weekend while i was at the lumber yard i saw this 21 inch wide x 40 inch long piece of black limba that was 1 3/4 inches thick leaning next to the rack. At $6.75 a bf it was still pricey at $75 but i bought it anyways. Here is what i made sofar from it. the big platter is 20 inches and the small one is 16 inches. I have a couple 1 3/4 spindle blanks from it and a bunch of bottle stopper blanks from the scraps and corners.

Pretty wood, and nicely done forms. I’d say if you sell these, you’ll get your money back plus some profit.
